With nearly 24 years of dedicated service with the Dallas Police Department, Eddie retired as a respected police lieutenant. Holding a Master of Science in Justice Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas, he seamlessly transitioned to a career in the field of tax. In managing day-to-day operations, Eddie dedicates himself to ensuring that the firm runs smoothly and efficiently. He oversees all aspects of the daily workflow, including the coordination and management of attorneys and support staff. Outside of work, he enjoys life with his amazing wife and four wonderful children.

Richard comes to our firm with over 30 years of IRS experience as an attorney, supervisor, and executive. He has unparalleled experience in all aspects of IRS practice, including audits, appeals, collection, criminal investigations, and litigation. He began his career as an attorney with the IRS, Office of Chief Counsel in Phoenix, Arizona. During that time, he focused on civil tax litigation and served as an expert in the abusive trust tax fraud area. He then worked in the IRS, Office of Chief Counsel Criminal Tax Division which brought him to Dallas. This work included advising the IRS Criminal Investigation Division on criminal investigations and law enforcement actions. He later moved to the IRS, Office of Chief Counsel Large Business & International Division where he provided legal advice and support on complex domestic and international taxation issues as well as having a significant role managing litigation involving novel tax issues and high-profile taxpayers. Additionally, he had executive oversight for fraud and research credit matters. His final position before he retired was as an executive in the IRS, Office of Chief Counsel Litigation & Advisory Division. In this role, he directed over 150 attorneys, paralegals, and managers in providing litigation, collection, and advisory support to the IRS Small Business/Self-Employed and Large Business & International Divisions. Richard was the recipient of an IRS Office of Chief Counsel National Award for Excellence in Management and the Treasury Legacy Honors award. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Arizona State University. Thereafter, he graduated Cum Laude from Arizona State University College of Law and received the honor of Order of the Coif. Prior to joining the IRS, Office of Chief Counsel, he worked as a Certified Public Accountant. One of his many strengths is his ability to quickly cultivate excellent working relationships. He routinely strives to be his clients’ trusted advisor. He is a talented tax technician who willingly offers to share his knowledge with others while still wanting to learn from them as well.

Jamie Flores

Attorney Jamie Flores obtained a Bachelor of Science from Texas Wesleyan University and a Master of Science with honors from Texas A&M University – Kingsville. She then received her law degree from the University of North Texas College of Law. Jamie is licensed to practice by the Texas Supreme Court and an admitted member to the Roll Of Practitioners of the United States Tax Court. Jamie works diligently with our team of professionals to provide client-focused resolutions in a practical yet effective manner. She is dedicated to client satisfaction by implementing creative, manageable solutions to tax problems. Her focus is on representing clients in various federal tax phases, including disputes, audits, appeals, and collections. Jamie is currently a member of the Tax Section and Women and the Law Section of the Texas State Bar. She is also an active member of the Dallas Bar Association.

Ivan received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Texas in political science, summa cum laude. He then received his Juris Doctor from the SMU Dedman School of Law, magna cum laude. Ivan is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court. He is passionate about helping individuals with their entire tax situations, from preparation to resolution. Ivan has years of experience preparing individuals’ tax returns as a volunteer at the Dallas Community Tax Center, which serves low-income families. He is experienced in asking the probing questions which will lead to accurate return preparation and proper tax analysis.

Kristi Youngblood is a graduate from the University of North Texas where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and her Master’s degree in Educational Administration. Kristi worked for nearly two decades developing a passion for helping others and building a desire to fight for people in need of assistance. While raising her five children and working full-time, Kristi attained her Juris Doctorate degree from University of North Texas, Dallas College of Law. She spends her free time volunteering with local school events and other community activities. Kristi is focused on helping clients and families with their unique tax situations, finding workable solutions to tax problems, as well as educating clients on how to best handle any future tax needs.
